Radial type caged ball LM guide (SSR)

The steel balls roll along the 4 rows of rolling surfaces on the LM track and LM slider, which are precision ground and machined; the steel ball rows are moved in a circular motion by the ball retainer and the end cover plate assembled on the LM slider. The use of the ball retainer eliminates friction between the steel balls and improves grease retention, realizing low noise, high speed, long service life, and maintenance-free operation over a long period of time.

The compact design with a low cross-section height and a ball contact structure with high load-bearing capacity in the radial direction makes it suitable for horizontal mounting. The ball contact structure with high load capacity in the radial direction minimizes the amount of displacement in the radial direction when the radial load is applied, resulting in stable travel accuracy.
